BOARD TREASURER

Julie D. Bauman is the owner and CEO of Julie D. Bauman, CPA, P.C., located in Falls City, Nebraska. She earned her CPA license in May 1995, when she passed the exam on the first sitting. Julie has served on the Nebraska Society of CPPA’s Board of Directors. She was the Chairman for the Nebraska Society of CPA’s board for 2012. Julie finished serving as an Elected Member of the AICPA Council in 2019. She is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and is licensed in Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri.

Julie is a founding board member of RC HOH and serves as its treasurer.

JERRY DEURFELDT

BOARD MEMBER

Jerry Duerfeldt was born and raised in the Falls City area. He is a retired farmer, married to his wonderful wife Linda, and together they share five daughters and their families. Jerry is a lifelong active member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. He is the president of the Falls City Rural Fire board, and has served on the boards for Community Medical Center and Falls City EDGE. Jerry also served in the Army National Guard Company B.

When asked to serve on the RC HOH board, Jerry was informed he was to be a social member, which fits in well with his hobby: socializing!

GAYLE KELLER

Gayle Keller is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for the Community Medical Center. Gayle grew up in Minden, Nebraska, where her nursing career began at the age of 16 working in the local nursing home. She attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and received her degrees through the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Gayle lives in Falls City with her husband, Bart, and two daughters, Addison and Aliza. 

Gayle is passionate about addiction and mental health treatment in the community. Being a part of the Richardson County House of Hope aligns well with her personal beliefs in helping others and she looks forward to being a board member.

DAVID SICKEL

David Sickel has been a lifelong resident of Richardson County. He was raised in a farming family, where he started farming before graduating from high school. He was a cattle and row crop operator for over 50 years. He was also the founder, owner, and operator of Triple S Construction, an excavation and conservation corporation. David was also a co-owner of Arago Fertilizer Company for several years.

David served as a Falls City Public School board member and currently serves as a Richardson County Commissioner. His dedication for farming, family, and community is what evolves him into service.

Linda Santo is a lifelong citizen of Richardson County and has resided in Falls City for over 40 years. Linda grew up on a farm near Dawson, graduated from Dawson-Verdon High School and attended Business College in Lincoln, NE. Linda worked in banking for over 20 years, and for the past 14 years has worked at Community Medical Center as the Marketing & Events and Foundation Coordinator. She is a proud mom of two grown children and eight grandchildren. Her favorite activities include golf, water aerobics, yoga, walking, and spending time with her spouse, William Reed, along with their family and friends. 

A member of numerous civic groups and community committees, Linda is passionate about the well-being of her community and its future. Living a life of kindness, empathy and faith, the Richardson County House of Hope project is a very meaningful mission.
